Rose Scott

Bio: 

Rose Scott is an Assistant Professor of Psychological Sciences at the University of California Merced. Her research focuses on how children acquire the skills that they need to engage in social interactions. She is especially interested in how children learn language, and how they begin to make sense of other people's behavior. Since she arrived in Merced in 2010, Rose has worked to provide up-to-date resources and research findings on early child development with parents, educators, and childcare providers in the Merced region.
